Miss India Georgia will be deeply committed to helping people in need and this year we are donating a percentage of the proceeds to A School Bell Rings.

A School Bell Rings is a charity devoted to improving the lives of impoverished children around the globe by providing them access to educational facilities and institutions. A School Bell Rings (and its sister organization Kids4Kids360) is an official 501c3 non-profit that builds schools and educational programs around the globe. We’re a 100% volunteer organization that’s committed to helping change the world to make it a better place. They accomplish this by building schools and/or providing existing facilities with needed supplies and services. When one donates money or time to A School Bell Rings, the gift may be used to build a one-room schoolhouse for a village in Africa or India. Or, it may be used to pay for a teacher’s salary. The gift may even be used to buy books, build a latrine or provide clean water for a school.

This charity is different than others that just build schools.  That said, they are different from some charities in the following ways: 1) In addition to building schools, we also help the communities they support by establishing ongoing relationships with local craftsmen and artists. 2) They also ask our donors to actively participate in feedback and guidance on the charity and how it evolves. They do this by pursuing feedback through donor research, online feedback and face-to-face interaction as well as directed donations. Those are just some of the ways they believe they are slightly different, and they hope you’ll join us in our efforts to make the world a slightly better place. What’s important is that your gift will be used to help change the lives of dozens of children in ways that will profoundly affect their future and well-being.

A School Bell Rings has a sister organization called Kids4Kids360.  Kids4Kids360 fundraising program enables children to reach across the globe and to help their counterparts in impoverished areas around the world.   Kids4Kids360 is designed to help children in the United States support children overseas. One can just pick a partner school from A School Bell Rings’ group of schools. Then, hold a small fundraiser to help those schools , art supplies, sports equipment and other items that help the kids.

The world of charity is one that teaches humility.  This year we are hoping to instill these values to the Ms Teen India Georgia and Ms India Georgia contestants. Each contestant will be asked to identify a charity they relate to and they will be asked to show how they will in the coming years support and fundraise for their charity of choice. The winner of the pageant will be required to represent the pageant in her work at the charity and will be able to report the work they have been involved with through our charity blog page.
